LIST OF GOODS STRICTLY PROHIBITED FROM SHIPPING VIA INTERNATIONAL POSTAL SHIPMENTS
- items whose properties may pose a danger to people or expose other parcels to damage, contamination, etc.,
- flammable or explosive materials, corrosive substances and other goods listed in the ADR Convention, weapons or ammunition,
- items the carriage of which is prohibited by law in the country of origin, transit or destination (e.g. ivory and articles thereof),
- narcotics, psychotropic substances and new psychoactive substances, the so-called "legal highs", as well as hemp products, derivatives and other types of hemp that are not fibrous (including medical marijuana),
- live animals,
- human or animal organs, body fluids and end products of human or animal metabolism,
- ashes or remains of deceased people or animals,
- items of an obscene or immoral nature,
- documents representing current and personal correspondence of persons other than the sender and by the recipient or persons living with them,
- counterfeit goods and pirated copies.
In addition, Meest Post does not accept parcels containing:
- items subject to excise duty (alcohol, tobacco products),
- dried tobacco within the meaning of the Regulation on excise duty and denatured alcohol,
- medicines, medicinal products, within the meaning of the law in the legislation on medicinal products, components for the production of medicinal products,
- perishable goods requiring special transportation conditions,
- products of animal origin referred to in Commission Regulation (EC) No. 206/2009 of 5 March 2009.
ADDITIONAL GOODS ARE PROHIBITED FROM SHIPPING VIA POSTAL SHIPMENTS FROM/TO SELECTED COUNTRIES:
FROM EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES TO UKRAINE
- tobacco, tobacco products and manufactured tobacco substitutes
- products for electrically heating tobacco: electronic cigarettes, vapes, IQOS, POD systems, etc.
- alcohol
- used dirty clothes and shoes
- animal food
- seeds and seedlings, timber and lumber of valuable and rare tree species
- works of art, collectibles and antiques
- identification documents such as passports or ID cards
- medicines with an expired expiration date and without original packaging
- food products of animal origin and other products, except those factory-packed with a total weight of no more than 10 kg per parcel
- banknotes, bearer securities and foreign currency
- books and magazines published in Russia or Belarus, as well as any books and magazines in Russian language
- goods originating from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus or the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine
- electric fishing systems (electric fishing rods), poaching equipment, fishing nets, hunting traps, etc.
- live pathogenic microorganisms (including bacteria, viruses, fungi, rickettsia, mycoplasma, other pathogenic microbes)
- acids, pesticides and agrochemicals
- containers with liquids: with the presence of hazard signs of classes 1 to 7 inclusive on the manufacturer's label/sticker and without the manufacturer's label/sticker with information
- used car batteries.
When transporting motorcycle frames, engines, chassis, etc. - described as parts and components for vehicles - and electric vehicles (electric scooters, skateboards, roller skates, etc.) the recipient will have to pay customs duties, import duty on the full value of the goods and VAT.
FROM UKRAINE TO EUROPEAN UNION COUNTRIES
- firearms and ammunition for them, cold weapons and other items specially designed for attack and defense (knuckles, stilettos, canisters with paralytic liquid, etc.)
- items that constitute the national, historical or cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people, determined in accordance with the laws of Ukraine
- permits for the right to carry weapons, work books, military tickets, passports and other documents certifying the identity
- explosive, flammable or other dangerous substances, military equipment
- goods exported in violation of intellectual property rights
- goods that have signs of a commercial batch (a significant number of identical attachments)
- agricultural products and food products (including canned)
- narcotics, psychotropic substances and their analogues
- cigarettes, cigars and other tobacco products
- items of obscene and immoral content
- alcoholic beverages and other products containing alcohol
- products made of gold, silver and precious metals
- food products of animal origin origin
- medicines, vitamins and vitamin complexes
- seeds and planting material
- gas lighters
- APPLIES ONLY TO GERMANY: car parts.
ATTENTION!
In case of reasonable suspicion that the parcel does not meet the above requirements, the carrier may check its contents before acceptance, and then decide to refuse further transportation in a specific branch of the carrier. After exceeding the established waiting period for the sender to pick up the parcel from the place of detention, the parcel with prohibited or unconfirmed contents will be destroyed by the commission. For sending goods prohibited for transportation, sanctions may also be imposed in accordance with the relevant generally accepted regulatory acts.
DETAILED LIST OF GOODS THAT ARE NOT SUBJECT TO COMPENSATION FOR LOSS, DAMAGE OR LATE DELIVERY
The sender of the parcel assumes full responsibility for any loss or damage resulting from the presence of inappropriate contents in the parcel.
- Goods requiring special conditions for their movement or storage, including:
televisions, monitors, laptops,
cameras and lenses,
stoves,
objects made of fragile materials: crystal, ceramics, porcelain, plaster,
mirrors or objects with mirror inserts,
glass objects, e.g. shower curtains, glasses, vases, etc.
glasses, optical equipment (e.g. telescopes or binoculars),
plants, seeds, flowers, fertilizers and plant products,
stringed or plucked musical instruments.
precious metals or stones and articles made from them,
jewelry,
works of art or articles of artistic value, antiques, as well as other,
items whose value is determined by their age, rarity or subjective characteristics,
numismatic items or philatelic collections.
money,
debit cards, credit cards, prepaid cards,
securities such as checks, bills, bonds, stocks,
savings books,
medical records, employment records containing personal information,
tender documents, employment documents, accounting documents,
tickets/vouchers,
passports,
identity cards,
driver's licenses.
- All items that were poorly packed or incorrectly secured, without "fillers" such as foam packaging;
- Liquids, electronic cigarettes.
